I really enjoyed this piece and I think it'd fit well on OCM. Should we ask Tansy about reposting?

I am shocked by this article. I expanded the notion of 'sacrifice zones' of Fashion to include culture and non-Fashion clothing traditions because I felt there had to be so much more awareness of and emphasis on the loss of the pluriverse of clothing, spectacular trditions around the world that have been hard pressed to survive in the global economic climate and with competition from Fashion. In this article: " Flowers have become a target and a way to blame garment workers for their poverty while sidelining the systemic inequities that characterise the garment industry." How drastic does it have to get? These women are even begrudged their sense of beauty. But the author's insights say so much about the moral depths of expllitation.
