Jade will present her idea for a new fashion commons network, called Stitch circle. It will start online as a website and eventually the members or Stitchers will self organise into a real life network of social gatherings, including workshops, clothes swaps, and stitch and bitch evenings.
By encouraging a more circular fashion culture to emerge, where we can support and inspire our fellows on this journey, she's offering an alternative route, diverting attention and funds away from fast fashion, towards degrowth. She would like to share the concept with you in some detail and invites your questions, consideration and feedback. The presentation will take around 30 minutes.
