Maria investigates community-based textile practices in the mediterranean area. It not only elevates the voices of artisans but also critically examines the structural dynamics—colonial legacies, labor inequalities, and ecological pressures—that shape these practices today. It is a space where craft becomes a form of resistance, storytelling, and cultural reclamation.
